In today’s fast-paced world, meaningful connections are often overlooked. Travis Frangie, a passionate photographer and videographer, set out to bridge this gap by creating Evening Cue—a studio dedicated to fostering human connections through intentional moments and authentic storytelling.
Travis approached me with a vision to craft a visual identity and website that would do more than market photography and videography services. He wanted Evening Cue to be a creative space that brings people together, inspires collaboration, and promotes understanding through the power of storytelling.

Travis saw storytelling as a powerful tool for uniting people and creating positive societal change. With Evening Cue, he hoped to channel photography and videography into visual stories that resonate deeply with brands and their audiences.
More than just a service provider, Travis envisioned Evening Cue as a creative space where people could connect and engage with captivating stories. His ultimate goal was to foster an inclusive community that inspires collaboration and empowers individuals to share their narratives, promoting understanding and meaningful dialogue.
To match Evening Cue’s mission of creating meaningful connections, we selected rich, earthy tones that evoke warmth and comfort. These colors complement the studio’s photography style, emphasizing deep hues and shadows while ensuring the visuals remain the focal point. The palette reflects a grounded, inviting atmosphere—perfect for a studio that brings people together through storytelling.
For Evening Cue’s typography, we chose Tobias, a graceful serif font that adds sophistication and leaves a lasting impression. Paired with the modern, approachable Neue Haas Unica, the combination reflects the studio’s commitment to both timelessness and staying grounded in an ever-changing world. This balance ensures that the studio’s identity feels both professional and inviting.
Rooted in the art of storytelling, our goal was to build a website that embodied this ethos at every level.
Instead of overtly marketing services, we showcased Evening Cue’s capabilities, expertise, and unique style through high-quality photography. Presented in a clean, elegant layout, these visuals, paired with narrative snippets, become powerful storytellers. They evoke emotions, highlight the studio’s creative talent, and attract high-value clients.
We reimagined client projects not just as showcases, but as compelling stories—a seamless blend of visuals and narratives that highlight the unique journeys, purposes, and connections of individuals and brands.
Our layout strikes a balance between visuals and text, drawing the audience into each story while highlighting high-quality photography. Intuitive pathways guide visitors through the stories, offering clear navigation and a cohesive experience, no matter where they enter.
The result: an engaging journey that connects visitors to the heart of each project, while encouraging them to explore more stories with smooth continuity.
Since its launch, Evening Cue has made a meaningful impact, attracting purpose-driven clients and leaving a lasting impression on individuals. Our work has not only strengthened Travis’ confidence in his craft but has also helped position the studio as a hub for fostering genuine human connections.
With this foundation in place, Evening Cue is well positioned to grow its community, facilitating conversations, collaboration, and events that celebrate shared humanity. As Travis’ vision evolves, we are confident that the studio will continue to inspire and unite people through storytelling, driving positive change in society.
